I am planning on opening a sole proprietorship home daycare in Texas next year. Do I need a business license? Is there anything else that I will need to get? I can’t seem to find this information on any official websites so links would be appreciated. Thanks.
I work in child care currently and have already made all the preparations required by Texas Childcare Licensing, I have my CDA (not required but adds credibility), CPR/First Aid Certification, and I have already passed the first round of interviews and inspections.

I am not sure where to find information on how and where to file for a business license, or even if it is a requirement.

What’s the bottom line info I would need to know to get an LLC business license?
And what is a tax id number? Will I get one upon applying for for the business license?

My business is currently listed under my home address and personal cell phone. I would like to change the address to a p.o. box or outside office and different phone number for safety reasons, so when my business pops up under San Diego directories online it is not my personal information. Do I have to go through my business license and officially change it there or is there a way to update information for standard business directories.

I am interested in knowing a few things about business. How much to charge for a specific job. If its Tree trimming/removal or Landscaping, mulching beds, moving planting plants, edging. What are rates for these types of work?

Do I need to pay towards WSIB for Tree or Landscaping Work?

How long will it take to receive a business license for a nail salon? Will you also need to get a tax number or does that come with the business license? Are there any problems getting a business license if you are under 18, even if you have an adult helping you create your business? Thanks!
