Hi,
I have been running a small hairdressing Business from my home now for around a year. I have converted a room in my house into a salon and have been plodding along slowly slowly building clientele.
I have a website www.coderedhair.com that i am slowly learning how to manage (it does need updating i know but im struggling to understand the software i was sold for it.)
I have also handed out some flyer’s but as i am living as a single parent at the moment (husbands in nigeria waiting on visa) don’t have any spare funds for advertising. I send emails to my clients with offers and they each have a loyalty card that gets stamped when they spend x amount or recommend a friend.
I have been in the hairdressing industry for over 14 years now and
i should by rights be running my own salon by now, unfortunately bad luck has delayed this.
So to make the best of my situation i need some ideas to pull in custom without breaking the bank. I need to get my business thriving fast, pay of my debts and work towards making success of myself.
Trouble is all my ideas are bigger than my non existent budget.
Does anyone have any miraclel ideas??
With the economy like it is, and with many businesses failing these days, I am very aware that I am taking a risk by starting up a business. But what I am doing is very low start up costs, I have all the potential and talent in the world, and I am ready! It will mainly be door-to-door to build my clientele and I am awesome at that! I just cant let the "bad" days get me down! And I can’t let the negativity of others telling me that I will fail get me down! I am so afraid that I will though and that I will give up! What are some good tips and some good advice on how to stay motivated and to never give up? What can I do each day to push myself?
I am very qualified, but I find that I have a problem "getting the word out" about my business. What are some ways that I could promote my private practice to the "right" clientèle? Right being no perverts with the wrong intentions behind a massage, and returning clientele? I don’t have a place for them to come receive a massage, i would like to do inhome massage, however I’m apprehensive about unprofessional men and how I would feel safe.
Thanks :)
I have approximately 25 years in the brokerage business but the last twelve were as a Branch Mangager for a discount broker where I could not give advice. I have developed an effective strategy for writing covered calls and would like to market it along with giving other types of advice about managing money. I am debt free with a modest net worth but no large clientele. Is the market flooded with advice and since the internet is so ubiquitous , is there any need for people to give financial advice for a fee?
I am starting a cleaning business and was wondering if anyone out there can give me good tips on the legalities of the process? I already have a steady clientele of 2 years, but would like to expand and have a business license and bonding insurance. Any tips on where I should start is greatly appreciated!
