My cousin is a FedEx contractor and he’d like some software to keep track of his business. What is the best/easiest software (he’s not exactly a computer guru)?

I am looking for the perfect laptop for me. I love playing The Sims (I don’t have it but my cousin does) and I really want a laptop so I can play it and so I can write books in my room instead of on the computer everyone in my house uses (besides my parents) Here is a little bit more help to explain my question:
What is your budget? I can earn the money, but hopefully something under 0.
What size notebook would you prefer? I don’t know, not a small one though.
What tasks will you be performing with the notebook? I will be playing The Sims The Complete Collection, The Sims 2 and The Sims 3. I will be writing books with a word documenting program and saving pictures.
Will you be taking the laptop around or leaving it on your desk? Both
Will you be playing games on it? If so what ones?
Yes; The Sims the Complete Collection, The Sims 2, The Sims 3
Are there any brands you prefer or don’t really like?
Well, I prefer Microsoft, something like Windows XP or Windows or whatever.
How many hours of battery life do you need? Nothing really specific, but nothing that only has like, 5 hours of battery. Something more than 5 hours.
Do you mind buying online without seeing the notebook in person? No, not really. I just need to see a few pictures of it.
What country are you buying this in? USA

Other questions:
Would you prefer widescreen or standard? Standard, but I could accept widescreen if I had to
What screen resolutions would you prefer? Medium text, easy to read
Do you want a glossy/reflective screen or a non-glossy/nonrefelctive screen? I don’t really mind, probably non-glossy though.
Are the notebook’s looks and stylishness important to you? Not really, but I don’t want it to look crummy and old
When are you buying this laptop and how long do you want this laptop to last? I will buy it when I get the money, but I want my moneys worth, too. So maybe 5+ years.
How much hard drive space do you want; 40GB to 160GB? 80+
Do you need an optical drive? If yes, a DVD-ROM, DVD-CD/RW or DVD-RW drive? Yes! I need DVD-ROM and DVD-CD/RW.

I hope my answers to these questions help. I can’t find a good laptop and I want one that will load fast and wont be choppy, especially on Sims. I want to play Sims and have it load quickly and work almost perfectly and I want the word documenting program to run smooth too. I won’t have internet on this computer, so I don’t care about that. Please help me! I don’t have a Sims-compatible computer and I really want a laptop anyways!
Never mind about the 5 hours of battery life. I only want at least 2 hours and 30 minutes before needing to put it on the charger. I don’t know much about computers, and if I did I don’t think I would be posting this question because I wouldn’t have to worry about what was on it, I’d know what to look for in the system and stuff so I wouldn’t post this.

I am really good at photo editing, I’m like an expert. For my cousin’s wedding, I edited all the wedding photos and put it into a book. I want to use my skill to make money. How could I persuade someone ONLINE to pay me credit to my paypal for a photo ( = 1 Photo)? Where will I find people willing to get their photos edited?
I’m seventeen and I dont use Picnik or those programs.

I just turned 13 years old. I heard that my cousin who is one month younger than me opened up her own business by giving manicures/pedicures/and massages to family/friends and charging them money. I want to do the same thing, but I want to sell beaded bracelets that I make to friends, family, and people who just like beaded stuff. Are there any good websites that will teach me how to make my own little business? For free.
I appreciate all the good answers but I also need any good, free websites that can teach me or give me ideas on how to make my jewelry. I already have all the supplies: beads, wiring, ect. I can always buy a book, but I’d prefer the internet.
