Hello,

I am a web developer and I recently developed a new small business website ( http://www.prettyearrings.com ) for selling cheap jewelry mainly earrings inside Europe including UK.

Currently I have added only 1 payment option, which is Paypal. I have very little knowledge about other companies, so please suggest me some other good and reliable alternatives.

Thank you!

As the question says, I put small amount of jewelry in front of 60 woman with sales of 400 bucks, how good is that from a business stand point and how would you proceed from here.
By the way, I have a degree in Commercial Art and Graphic Design and I had made all the jewelry.
I can make jewelry pretty quickly and my profit margin was very high.
I sold about many sets of jewelry from a necklace, bracelet, and earrings set from 25 to 40 dollars a set, and many bracelet and earrings set from 12 to 18 depending on the costs associated with them.
I’ve put everything back in to the business, I do it in my home, no overhead, and I am trying to build up my inventory so that I may be able to take it somewhere like a street fair or festival to see how it does there.

Helphelphelp~

Im from China and once I arrived at Canada and started to hang out with my friends, then I found out that the girlish stuff I brought from China (cute pens, cute accesories, headband, handbags, rings, earrings, etc)are really attractive to those Canadians, so I started think about maybe I can do some business (u know, rent a small booth in those popular malls), but i have a really really serious concern:

because I am not doing really big business like import a lot of stuff from China, so If I bring a lot of stuff I like to sell in Canada with me when I fly to Canada, and then sell them in my little booth, is that really illegal?because I know that the government levy import tax, rite?

And I know once I sell something and I earn money from it, I have to pay incoming tax every month right?

So can anyone give me some advices?about the illegal bringing-in?

I’m ready to turn my hobby into a small business. I have a following already here in the community. I design traditional beaded necklaces, bracelets, watchbands, and earrings. My jewelry is made to be worn by the business woman, not teens in jeans.

I have started a business which deals with beaded necklaces, bracelets & earrings. I want to expand & supply various shops with the merchandise so I must submit the plan & some pictures of the products to Edgars. At the moment, I am working at home with other 2 ladies. Please assist me.
