I filed for chapter 13 Personal Bancruptcy 7 years ago. I was just wondering: How long can someone wait to aquire a new line of credit; Is it 7 or 10 years now? I’m asking Because recently my Personal Bank sent me a Pre-Approved Unsecured Credit Card Application via the net. I filled it up w/ my Personal Info. Thinking it was just a fluke then after about a week,Lo and behold ,a Brand Spanking New Unsecured Credit Card w/ my name on it! Right After that, i applied with another Credit card company via the net, but it said that it can’t process my application at this time. Iv’e been out of the hole for 7 years now so do you think is it ok to apply for more New lines of credit?…any info or suggestions is highly appreciated ,God Bless & Thanks a million in advance!

I’m really in need of some extra cash these days and I heard there’s a way to make a little extra money online doing surveys. I tried this cashcrate site which I heard was legitmate but each time I give out my personal info and fill out a survey I’m told I don’t qualify and to try another one. So basically I’m completely wasting my time. I would very much appreciate any suggestions of sites that actually work for people.

My grandmother died leaving my fathers children alot of money when he dies. She knew he was a screw up and would spend her money on drugs. Im the oldest and he wants me to be in charge of it all when he does die. He just told me that a few minutes ago. I dont mind being in charge of it but what if he wants my personal info? like soc sec or bank info?( Iv heard he is shady, stealing and lying and has been to jail) Iv never seen any of this personally, but this is what I hear. But Iv also heard that he has cleaned up his life and has a real job and wants to make amends. I dunno. Does anyone know how to see if he has a record for free online? Any help would be great, I have to call him at 8 tonight so hurry with answers, lol:) Thanks

i live in the las vegas area. I know some people that have work at home and have made some good money.
Thanks I would never give anyone money or any of my personal info. I knew a lady that put plastic parts together and they paid her for each one she did.

I’ve noticed a huge trend lately of people using credit/debit cards for virtually every transaction they make, no matter how small. I work in a retail store and people will use them for – purchases, which is asinine. Don’t people realize that all they’re doing is unwittingly furthering the goal of a cashless society and making banks even more money? Of course, there are times when the usage of a card is warranted, such as items bought remotely (mail/internet/phone sales) and larger purchases that you want the CC company’s protection for or for something that you don’t immediately have the cash on hand. Cards were never really intended for daily, intensive usage; this is part of the reason why there is so much fraud and identity theft. People also frequently live beyond their means with cards, which is another pitfall. I will stick to CASH, personally-no one makes/charges a transaction fee, and companies do not get personal info about me and my buying habits!
